What this site is
Dream Galaxy lets you compare a dream you write with a corpus of recorded dreams from public-domain and openly licensed works. It is a tool for exploration and curiosity.
What it is not
It does not interpret dreams and is not medical, psychological, therapeutic or legal advice. The “another way to look” notes describe how traditions have read images; they do not describe you. If dreams are distressing you, please talk to a qualified professional.
Sources and translations
Dream excerpts are quoted from the works listed on the Sources page, each with its rights evidence. Chinese titles and translations are editorial drafts and may contain mistakes. If you find an error or a rights concern, tell us through the feedback form and we will review it.
Your dreams
What you write is yours. It stays in your browser, so you are responsible for keeping a backup; clearing site data deletes saved dreams.
Reasonable use
Please do not overload the site with automated requests, attempt to disrupt it, or present its editorial translations as the original texts.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for losses arising from its use, including loss of locally stored dreams.

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continued use means you accept the current version.
