Changing colors and flying
Not stated · Date unknown · contemporary study
In the dream, I was in the center of the town where I live, walking around with a spritz in my hand. At that moment, I thought and said out loud that I was in a dream, and I started performing reality checks; I was indeed in a dream. I then made myself smaller, and when I saw myself from the outside, I was not myself but a non-real character. The environment was not real either; rather, everything was colorful and surrounded by nature. I walked around and, as I met other characters, I changed the color of their clothes as I pleased. I then began flying over this imaginary environment, before waking up shortly afterward. What struck me most was being able to do supernatural things and to transform things according to my will.

Jung · The centre
In 1927 Jung dreamed of a dark, sooty Liverpool; at its centre was a square with a pool, an island and a single magnolia tree in bloom, lit as if by sunlight. He took it as an image of a centre in the psyche — what he called the Self.
