Living pictures in magnesium light

Weygandt dreamed that he was gazing at ‘living pictures’ illuminated by magnesium light, and awoke to find that the morning sun had just appeared from behind clouds and was flooding the room with light.

Psychological
Dreamers often report vivid light, shadow and colour. Ellis observed that vision dominates dreams even though the eyes are closed; some later writers treat light and dark as figures for knowing and not-knowing.
